KenGen Plc invites sealed tenders from eligible candidates for The Tender for Supply,
Installation and Commissioning of Ngong SCADA ICT Equipment, whose
specifications are detailed in the Tender Document
Tendering will be conducted under Open International Tender using a standardized tender
document.
Qualifified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender
Documents during offifice hours between 8am and 5pm starting at the date of advert at the

A complete set of tender documents may be purchased or obtained by interested tenders upon payment
of a non- refundable fees of (Amount in Kenya shillings1000/=) in cash or Banker's Cheque and payable to
the address given below. Tender documents may be obtained electronically from the Website
(WWW.KENGEN.CO.KE). Tender documents obtained electronically will be free of charge.
The Original Tender Security of KES. 2,000,000.00 or equivalent in a freely convertible
currency valid for 30 days beyond the tender validity period from any reputable banks registered
by the Central Bank of Kenya. International bidders, should have tender security through local
corresponding banks registered by the Central Bank of Kenya and MUST be submitted in a plain
sealed envelope and clearly marked “KGN-NGONG-11-2023 - TENDER FOR SUPPLY,
INSTALLATION AND COMMISSIONING OF NGONG SCADA ICT EQUIPMENT’’

The Original Tender Security clearly labeled should be dropped at the tender box located on Ground 9
Floor at KenGen, RBS building on or before tender closing date.
Electronic tender securities are acceptable and shall be authenticated through the use of the QR scanner.
All tender securities submitted shall be subject to authentication by KenGen
There shall be a Mandatory site visit on 20th June, 2023 at KenGen Ngong Wind Farm starting
at 10.00am
Completed Tender shall be dropped at the tender box located on the ground floor of KenGen,
RBS Building on or before tender submission deadline 28th June, 2023 at 2.00 p.m.
Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specifified above or any deadline date
and time specifified later.
