KenGen Plc invites sealed tenders from eligible candidates for the TENDER FOR
ESTABLISHMENT OF INTEGRATED SECURITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (ISMS) FOR
WESTERN REGION, UPPER TANA & KIPEVU REGIONS whose specifications are detailed in the
Tender Document

Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method to Open International using a
standardized tender document. Tendering is open to all qualifified and interested Tenderers.
The tender is specific to Open International.
Qualifified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents

A complete set of tender documents may be purchased or obtained by interested tenders upon
payment of a non- refundable fees of (Amount in Kenya shillings1000/=) deposited to KenGen
accounts or Banker's Cheque and payable to the address given below. Tender documents may be obtained
electronically from the Website((WWW.KENGEN.CO.KE)). Tender documents obtained electronically
willbe freeofcharge.

Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website
(WWW.KENGEN.CO.KE ). Tenderers who download the tender document must forward their
particulars immediately to (tenders@kengen.co.ke , 0711036000 and P.O.BOX 47936- 00100 postal
address) to facilitate any further clarifification or addendum.

Tender For Integrated Security Management System (ISMS) For Western Region, Upper Tana and Kipevu
All the site visit will start at 10.00 a.m . Bidders are encouraged to keep time.
Tender Security shall be required.
The Original Tender Security shall be in the amount of KES 1,500,000.00 or equivalent a freely convertible currency
valid for 30 days beyond the tender validity period in any of the following forms;
➢ Tender Security from a reputable banks registered by the Central Bank of Kenya
➢ A guarantee issued by a financial institution approved and licensed by the Central Bank of Kenya
➢ A guarantee by an insurance company registered and licensed by the Insurance Regulatory Authority listed by the
Authority
International bidders should have tender security through local corresponding banks registered by the Central Bank of
Kenya
