Akakus Oil Operations (formerly Repsol Oil Operations) is a Libyan oil company with its head office in Tripoli, Libya. AOO (Akakus Oil Operations) is operating two (2) concessions in the Sahara Desert. The first is the NC-115 concession area and is approximately 1000 km south of Tripoli. The second is NC-186 concession area close to NC-115 concession area, around 30 km.
Project Summary
As part of its development plans to increase production, Akakus Oil Operations intends to implement EPC project to install and connect new flowlines also well gathering stations (Manifolds) and surface facilities, OHTL and other constructions at El-Sharara Field. Akakus Oil Operations is seeking specialized companies (national or foreign) in the implementation of engineering and construction projects in the oil sector, provided that is specialized and have the ability, competence and a previous proven experience.
AOO invites all specialized Companies that are interested in participating in this Pre-qualification stage to get the attached pre-qualification questionnaire. Only the qualified companies will be invited to receive the tender package.
Qualification Requirements:
Interested companies for this tender must satisfy the requirements stated on the pre-qualification questionnaire and shall submit the required information.
Important Note:
The pre-qualification invitation is not an invitation to tender.
Only qualified local & foreign companies that meet the pre-qualifying criteria, which shall
be determined by AKAKUS OIL OPERATIONS at its sole discretion, will be included in bidders list.
Akakus Oil Operations reserve its right to reject any and/or all companies at its sole discretion. Such act by Akakus shall be final and shall not be contested or challenged by any participants
Furthermore, this pre-qualification invitation does not imply any commitment or obligation for Akakus Oil Operations to issue a tender enquiry or enter into a contract.
Participation:
This announcement is targeting the specialized local and foreign companies who are specialized in the aforementioned field of work and will remain posted on the NOC and AOO websites along with the Prequalification questionnaire for a limited period of thirty days starting from date of announcement.
Closing date to receive the documents is set on 30th July 2023 at 12:00 pm. Any document submitted after the set date will be disregarded.
The intention to participate request along with the required documents shall be submitted to Secretary of Bid Committee at Bid Committee Office at AOO headquarters. The documents are to be submitted in one original and one electronic copy (in a hard support) in a sealed envelope to be sent (or hand delivered) prior to the specified deadline date to the following address:
